Someone Found the Last Easter Egg in the DOOM Soundtrack

The official soundtrack to the 2016 version of DOOM made by Bethesda Softworks has said to have five easter eggs planted within the music since release. Up until now, only four have been found, but a major discovery was finally made this week on social media. A guy named Nick White posted his findings on Twitter, showing that on the track "Authorization; Olivia Pierce", you can hear the words "You could not have saved them anyway." After posting it online and asking composer Mick Gordon if he found it, Gordon confirmed the findings.

It took people two years to find this final piece of the puzzle hidden in a track running just under 2:30 minutes, and in some ways, it's very fitting as it kinda serves as a teaser to DOOM Eternal. For the time being, enjoy the findings, and you can listen to the DOOM track yourself in the video below.
