Star Fox Comes to Starlink on the Nintendo Switch, Announced at E3
Star Fox is joining the fight in Ubisoft's new game Starlink. The news was announced at this afternoon's Ubisoft E3 press conference to much fanfare. Shigeru Miyamoto himself even appeared on stage and was given the prototype of Star Fox and his ship from the toy to life game. Star Fox will be exclusively available to play in the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Here is the trailer they showed onstage making the announcement:
This is obviously a really cool announcement. Personally I was not all that excited about this game until this news and the gameplay they showed off, which you can also view down below:
It looks like fans of space battles and dogfighting are going to be really happy with this one. This may just breathe new life into the toys-to-life genre, which has taken some body blows in the last couple of years with Disney Infinity and LEGO Dimensions going under.
"Lead a group of interstellar pilots as you build your own starship, explore the Atlas Star System, and battle the vile Grax and his Forgotten Legion."
All versions of Starlink, including the Switch version that will include Star Fox, will hit stores on October 16th.
Keep it locked here all week long for all of the big news and trailers coming out of E3!
