The longest losing streak in esports history has finally been broken, as the Shanghai Dragons finally won a match in the Overwatch League. For those of you not aware, the Dragons ended the inaugural season of the league setting a world record in esports with the worst win-loss record in history, finishing at 0-40. Their luck didn't improve as they had already lost two games last week, making it 0-42, but all that came to an end tonight as the team finally scored their first official franchise win against the Boston Uprising. Shockingly, winning in a near shutout 3-1. Here's a couple clips from Twitter, showing both the final moments of their win, as well as the audience's reaction.

Congratulations to the Shanghai Dragons for their long and hard-earned victory. Hopefully, this is the spark the team needs to build momentum and be at least a contender this season. They're still 1-2 overall sitting in the lower half of the standings, so there is a hill to climb, but hey, it's a start. Good luck, Dragons!
