Europe Finally Gets Its PlayStation 4 Price Cut
Us over here in Europe have had to sit idle while the rest of the world saw PlayStation 4 price cuts, with both Japan, North America and Australia seeing price cuts in the last few weeks.
I actually wondered if we would see one at all, since the PlayStation 4 is dominating so heavily on the continent, but thankfully, it has come to pass. The price cut was announced today on the PlayStation Blog seeing a new base price for the standard 500GB model at €349.99 in Europe and £299.99 in the UK.
This isn't actually a huge price drop. I've seen similar prices, at least in the UK before, but hey, lowering the RRP should in theory makes sales better, so the savings should come in time.
