Analyst Says Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 And New Resident Evil Are Set For This Year
This fall is already looking pretty crowded, but with E3 coming, it will no doubt end up being packed to the rafters as new games get announced. For the most part, we likely won't know until the expo in Los Angles though.
Unless of course we get leaks.
I'm not sure if this next story counts as a leak, since I don't know the validity of the sources, but the perdictions certainly seem believable. Analyist SuperData has published a report that makes reference to both Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and a new Resident Evil game due out later this year.
On Black Ops 3, which many were hoping would be World at War 2, the analyst shared:
This month's success sets the stage for the hotly anticipated fall release of Call of Duty Black Ops 3.
On Resident Evil, they said:
We anticipate this month's downturn to level off during the coming few months, following a regular seasonal pattern but expect to see an upswing as the next editions of several major franchises like Halo and Resident Evil come out in the 2015 fall season.
I can see both of these coming true, but as I said, these are far from certain, so proceed with a little caution.
Gosh, I really hope Resident Evil goes back to its survival horror roots. I really, really, do.
