J.K. Simmons Reveals Contents of Justice League Snyder Cut

The quest to get Warner Bros. to release the Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League, a legendary version of the film which includes Zack Snyder's Vision in its unmolested form, is still ongoing. So far, Warner Bros. has only released some deleted scenes on the movie's home video release, leaving fans to forever wonder how much better the movie would have been without the interference of Warner Bros and alleged fake feminist Joss Whedon.

The fight for the Snyder Cut has seen dramatic highs and lows. Just yesterday, Star Wars: The Last Jedi star Mark Hamill seemed to throw his weight behind the demand for a Snyder Cut when he said that Watchmen, also directed by Snyder, was his favorite movie, but Hamill later changed his mind, claiming his favorite movie is actually Baywatch. Now, however, actor J.K. Simmons, who played Commissioner Gordon in the film, has spoken publicly for the first time about the contents of the Snyder Cut in an interview with physics-themed entertainment blog and website that got that rumor right that one time, Collider.

J.K. Simmons Reveals Contents of Justice League Snyder Cut

Simmons, asked whether he worked with both Snyder and Whedon on the movie, said he worked only with Snyder, and noted that Warner Bros. and Whedon cut most of his scenes.

"I was barely involved in the movie, period," Simmons revealed. "And then, that even got cut. I only worked with Zack [Snyder]."

Just as for many of us, the assault upon Zack Snyder's Vision came as a complete surprise to Simmons.

"Because I don't really pay attention to show business, outside of my own thing, I was unaware of most of that," Simmons said. "I didn't even know until somebody in the press told me about the re-shoots. And I have no idea what to expect, going forward."

Despite being caught in the crossfire of Warner Bros.' war against Zack Snyder's Vision, Simmons does hope to continue to work within the DCEU.

"Assuming that we're gonna go forward, the way we think it will, I'm really looking forward to that," he said. "Hopefully, it will be really fun and the character will expand a little bit, particularly in the stand-alone Batman movie. There will be more to do. I guess it's Matt Reeves now for that one, who I haven't met. So, it will be a whole new collaborator to get together and work with, hopefully."

And, hopefully, Warner Bros. will come to its senses and release the Snyder Cut. For J.K. Simmons's sake For all our sakes, before it's too late.
