Nathan Fillion And Alan Tudyk Talk Practical Jokes And Favorite Cameos For Con Man
We have more fun with Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk as they promote the airing of Con Man on Syfy. In the video below, the Firefly alumni answer fan questions. The first is about practical jokes on set, and while they both say there were none on Con Man, Fillion tells of a joke he played on Tudyk while filming the Serenity movie.
From there, they talk about their favorite cameos for Con Man. Fillion likes that Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) plays every bartender in the series and never says a word, while Tudyk likes that Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation) came on to say nonsensical words in a very high-pitched voice. And then the two actors talk about why they get along so well.
If you haven't seen the series, as it did start off as a webseries, the basic synopsis for it is:
Con Man follows the journey of Wray Nerely (Tudyk), a washed-up, former sci-fi celebrity who revisits his glory days on the convention circuit.
Fillion plays the more popular former co-start Jack Moore.
Season 1 of Con Man was 13 episodes while Season 2 was 12. No word yet if there is a third season planned.
