Something Monstrous Is Hiding In Battlefield 4…Somewhere

Battlefield 4 is known to have quite a few awesome easter eggs that activate after ludicrous conditions are met. The most famous is undoubtedly the Megladon that appears on one of the maps to jump out and squash players who gather around a buoy.  There is also a Tyranasaurous Rex roar hidden on another map, but you never see the king of dinosaurs.

It appears as if there might be something else hidden on the multiplayer map Paracel Storm. DICE have been dropping hints for a long time about the possibility, with graffiti on other maps showing the drawings of Paracel Storm and the words "The Monster Is Real" written in Chinese. Many have been searching for the trigger for months, but to no avail.

Youtuber Jackfrags may finally have found a huge clue that suggests that there is indeed something lurking in the waters of the game. While listening to audio files in the game's folders, he found a sound that didn't quite fit. Here. Take a listen.

The prevailing theory is that it might well be another Megladon where as others think it might be a Kraken. I love little easter eggs like this. I think they are really fun and a nice little diversion for a community as they go looking for monsters.
