"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" Poster is EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE WANTED

We knew we'd get the new Star Wars film trailer today, The Last Jedi during the panel of the same name during Celebration.

What we WEREN'T expecting was this GLORIOUS MAGNIFICENT POSTER

c9yrt1sxkaeyn-kThe sounds I made when LucasFilm president Kathy Kennedy and Last Jedi director Rian Johnson presented the audience with this poster, oh goodness.  A mix of delightful euphoric gasp, and complete and utter delight of that color palate, the classic poses, the beautiful ART of the image.

Obviously, we have Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker there on the left, with Adam Driver as Kylo Ren on the right, and Daisy Ridley's Rey in classic Tom Jung/Hildebrandt raised saber pose.

Also, note the color change of the saber, from the Jedi blue to the Sith red.  So so much to this relatively simple design, it's frakking AMAZING.

The official Star Wars twitter posted it right after the reveal:

Getting to see the reactions of Mark Hamill, John Boyega, and Daisy Ridley upon seeing the poster/trailer for the first time was fantastic, I can only imagine what it sounded like in that room.

Last Jedi also stars Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleason, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Lupita N'Yongo, Anthony Daniels and Laura Dern. Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman are producing The Last Jedi, and Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin and Tom Karnowski are exec producers.
