Xbox One March Update Is Finally Bringing Screenshots And Suggested Friends

It's finally coming. One of the Xbox One community's most asked for feature, screenshots, is on its way. During the March update for the console, the feature will be added and it will allow users to capture the screen they are currently idle on.

On top of that users will be able to make the screenshot their dashboard background. I could think of some pretty cool and abstract moments in games to stick behind all of the Xbox tiles. I'm pretty boring though as most of them are loading screens.

On top of that, the update will bring a suggested friends feature so you will have a way to grow your network. This seems like something that should have happened a long time ago. The whole rigmarole of asking a friend if they have Xbox Live, searching them on a controller input keyboard, waiting for them to accept etc. was pretty arduous. Now you can just see who is suggested for you in a quick press of a button. My network will likely grow a lot after this.

Here is a video from Microsoft detailing these two functions and a few more.

The update is set to go live at the beginning of next month so look for it then.
