I'm sure that's going to be a point of contention this season because J shot Smurf (probably for selfish reasons more than saving Pope). Another bombshell was Deran and Adrian – he sent sweet little Adrian away to Indonesia after he got caught up in drug running for some shady guy and got jerked around by[...]

So it's summer season but we're lacking in our annual "family reunion." TNT's Animal Kingdom isn't on the radar, and we think we know why.

Noticeably absent was Angela (Emily Deschanel), Julia's former BFF and drug buddy who waltzed back into the Codys' lives last season with an agenda of her own Not that I don't love Emily, but if Angela isn't in this season (or much of it), I may just throw a massive party in celebration Yes, there[...]

It's kind of buried under the toddler-like whiny tantrum of a delivery, which I guess is Pope's character in a nutshell. Angela is back to being manipulative towards Pope, which can be for good, I suppose, but for now it's just annoying, because she's using her "alliance" with the Codys to threaten her brother who she[...]

In the present, the only surviving one, Andrew (aka Pope) puts his "mommy dearest" to rest. So… who's ready for next week's finale? While this week's TNT "Animal Kingdom" didn't give us the heist we've been waiting for, "Julia" offered raw emotion, brutal truths, and tense face-offs.

A new criminal crew is also introduced with a surprising connection to the Codys. Animal Kingdom Season 5 is expected to premiere some time next summer on TNT You can catch the fourth season now, currently airing new episodes Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.  Good news, Animal Kingdom fans… and fans of outlaw bank robber dramas…[...]

Still, that doesn't mean that things didn't happen… this is the Codys we're talking about, after all So let's start at the beginning, shall we?
