Cyclops is reunited with Emma Frost at last! Of course, this may be somewhat of a bittersweet reunion, given everything that's transpired since Scott's death and resurrection First of all, there was the whole using Scott's legacy to engineer a war with the Inhumans that didn't end up going so well And then there's the[...]
The original X-men, in their original suits! Cyclops, Beast, Angel, marvel Girl, and Icem…wait a minute, where is Iceman!?!? How could you not do Iceman and complete the team? Party foul Funko Other than that glaring omission, these look absolutely perfect.

First up are two new variants on Wolverine and Cyclops[...]
is he applying to @ComicBook soon?!? https://t.co/zyxytNrcNk

Our first clue that there would be some major changes to Scott Summers' facial hair appeared in last week's column, when power-mad X-Editor Jordan White revealed the following image of Cyclops sporting a full beard Cyclops normally goes clean-shaven or rocks a little[...]
And naturally, the biggest stud in all of X-Men comics came up: Cyclops Which pairing for Cyclops was better, Cyclops and Jean Grey or Cyclops and Emma Frost? White didn't hesitate in answering:
Jean.
And he had an explanation:
Look, you asked for me to answer, and I did I answered truthfully If all three of them are[...]
Since the greatest mutant ever, Cyclops, returned from the dead in Uncanny X-Men Annual #1, he's had a bit of a problem trusting people When it comes to Captain America, who led the Avengers in an invasion of Utopia during Avengers vs X-Men with the purpose of imprisoning a teenage Hope Summers on the moon[...]
It takes a lot to get us to admit that.
Uncanny X-Men #15 hits stores on Wednesday.
Uncanny X-Men #15
(W) Matthew Rosenberg (A/CA) Salvador Larroca
Cyclops and the X-Men have set out to save mutantkind…but the Mutant Liberation Front isn't going to just wait for it to happen! Led by one of the X-Men's own, the MLF is[...]
And really, can you truly say it's anyone's fault?
Don't answer that.
In any case, while we still have no word on a Claremont ongoing, White did address another favorite topic of ours: the raw sexual magnetism of beloved X-Men leader Cyclops.
Asked if Cyclops can stay single for a year since coming back from the dead (is[...]
Back during the Schism, the beginning of Marvel's attempts to assassinate the character of Cyclops, Wolverine gave Cyclops a lot of crap about putting kids in danger… but after the events of Uncanny X-Men #12, Wolverine apparently can't even keep track of the multi-eyed mutant girl the X-Men rescued from O.N.E.:
You think?! Maybe you should[...]
But around the time Marvel had Wolverine join the Avengers, he mostly lost any real flaws, became essentially invincible and indestructible thanks to his healing factor, was beloved and respected by pretty much every character in the Marvel Universe, sanctimoniously lectured Cyclops about endangering kids during the Schism, and turned on his family in the[...]
In the previous issue of Uncanny X-Men, we saw Cyclops trying to find his way in a world without the X-Men, and to be honest, he seemed pretty lost That is, until he ran into his old buddy, Wolverine, also recently returned from the dead, and the only mutant in the world willing to team-up[...]
But back when Scott was a time-displaced teenager living alongside his adult counterpart in Marvel's past, he founded a teen superhero team called the Champions before being sent back in time with his memory erased, only for his memory to come back to his resurrected adult self in the future moments after his teen self[...]
Of course, Cyclops, hero that he is, did his best to use that power to make the world into a utopia, but the jealous stark and his fellow Avengers worked to undo that too, and Summers was left taking all the blame for something that was clearly all Stark's fault in the first place.
And don't[...]
But even so, it's still surprising that they would kill off Cyclops so soon after bringing him back in last week's Uncanny X-Men Annual.
Nevertheless, the words are right there on the page of Uncanny X-Men #11, as this preview reveals…
Of course, that's technically Cyclops saying it, which might call reports of his death into question[...]

In Shops: Jan 23, 2019
SRP: $4.99
The story opens on Muir Island "several weeks ago," as Cyclops' optic blast explodes out of his grave, followed by the beloved mutant leader crawling out and back to life This took place prior to Extermination We then get a flashback to "several years ago" where[...]
It's the moment you've all been waiting for, X-fans! After years of abuse by Marvel, painting him as a villain and killing him off as part of an ill-advised attempt to make The Inhumans happen, Cyclops is finally returning in next week's Uncanny X-Men Annual #1 So how does cyclops come back? Well, we saw[...]
It's only X-Editor Jordan White's second week since his big fancy promotion, and he's already feeling the pressure! So we appreciate that, despite being busy, he still found time to post some quick previews for that most important of comic book holidays, X-Men Monday.
But we're not very happy to see Cyclops being mistreated so soon!
Guys,[...]
And then, presumably, X-terminate them!
Cyclops is back, baby, and after joining up with the also recently returned Wolverine in February to rebuild the X-Men from the ground up, Cyclops will apparently be back to his old proactive ways, assembling a list of "things the X-Men have to take care of" in March's Uncanny X-Men #13[...]
But that issue finally hits stores next week, and Marvel has decided to reward long-suffering X-fans for their patience by resolving that cliffhanger right in the preview for next week's issue.
As you may recall (if you can remember all the way back to when Extermination #4 came out), the issue ended with Ahab spearing Cyclops[...]
Who's that leading Marvel Editor Jordan White's X-Men Monday previews this week?! That's right, it's Cyclops, looking especially debonair in his early 2000s' young millennial costume White posted the panel from an unnamed book heading to press this week, though we can hazard an informed guess that this panel is from the upcoming Uncanny X-Men[...]
We still miss Cyclops too Luckily, he's on his way back by February to become the center of the mutant universe once more, as it should be.
But we probably should figure out what happened to Rogue.
Mr and Mrs X #5 hits stores next Wednesday.
Mr and Mrs X #5
(W) Kelly Thompson (A) Oscar Bazaldua (CA) Terry[...]
Marvel has released the cover for the book, featuring Cyclops (the best X-Man) and Wolverine (the worst X-Man) on the cover, and declaring these two to be the "last" X-Men, perhaps lending credence to the theory that the rest of the X-Men will be off in an alternate Age of X-Man universe for the duration[...]
Let's get right into it…
Extermination #4 (of 5)
W) Ed Brisson (A) Pepe Larraz (CA) Mark Brooks
• The X-Men are at the end of their rope.
• If even one of the original five X-Men dies, our future is lost.
• Jean Grey and the X-Men only have one option left…and it may cost them everything.

In Shops:[...]
Will the same creative team be sticking around? Will Cyclops be back, since he's featured in both the annual and the cover of Uncanny X-Men #11? Will the book still be weekly? Maybe not, since only 3 issues ship in January And where the heck is Chris Claremont in all of this?
Perhaps the answers can be[...]
One of those images featured the head of deceased X-Men leader Cyclops, recently revealed in a scientific poll to be the most popular X-Man.
At New York Comic Con, Marvel revealed that Uncanny X-Men will get an annual in 2019, and that annual featured Cyclops prominently on the cover Though that didn't confirm that the adult[...]
If you're new to the column, the basic idea is that we read and recap every X-Men comic that comes out each week, make some jokes, and complain about how Marvel is mean to Cyclops or won't let Chris Claremont write something.
This weekend was New York Comic Con, so it seems like a good time[...]
White (@cracksh0t) October 1, 2018
Doesn't Marvel have interns for that sort of thing, White?
In any case, we're glad to see Marvel recognize that the fans want Cyclops back in a place of prominence amongst the X-Men Hopefully adult Cyclops will be resurrected after Uncanny X-Men relaunches, just in time to blast the recently-returned Wolverine with[...]
There's not many things in the comics industry from the past decade that bother us more than what Marvel has done to our beloved Cyclops First, disrespected by that no-good Wolverine in the X-Men Schism, lectured for putting children in danger to save mutantkind despite Wolverine's own predilection for literally murdering his own children, not[...]
The X-Men of the past are also in the future, and they blame Magneto for the dystopia in which they live. A fight ensues. Is it a good read?
