It is unknown if the publisher is truly hurt by these accurate[...]
It shows that we shouldn't be quick to judge, and there is more to her.

It was awful and delightful.
I jest — I actually calmly picked up a pair and bought them.
The design is clearly from Archie legend Dan Parent For a little under $5 you get a single pair Not exactly a great deal, but as we all know, I have a problem with not buying Archie merch[...]

The story is very typical Classic Archie, largely in part to Dan Parent writing the script and Bill Golliher penciling the tale We even get a minor appearance by Mr Lodge, who has the funniest line in the story It's an exceptional way to open up the digest.
My favorite story out of this digest, though,[...]
The digests are still going strong, and there's even a new "classic" series — Your Pal Archie by Ty Templeton and Dan Parent.
Dan's updated classic look is a nice middle ground for people who want an updated Archie and those who prefer the classics Archie and the gang still retain their vintage looks, but Dan has[...]
Regardless, Archie and the gang have decades worth of stories about summertime and the beach, and Archie Summer Annual #280 is a great way to celebrate the hot season!
In Dan Parent's newest story — Beachwatch — Archie is an extra in a movie His role is a lifeguard, which in itself is pretty funny We[...]
There's 128 pages featuring art from Dan Parent, Gisele Lagace, Harry Lucey, Dan DeCarlo, Rex W Lindsay, and more If you're a die-hard Archie fan (or just like these coloring books), I highly recommended Archie's Coloring Book I'll likely xerox pages from the book so I can have it for a long, long time Don't[...]
The cover–by Dan Parent— reflects the interior, as the book is heavily dedicated to the Archie fairy tale spoofs There's a little history to each classic fairy tale before the story, offering readers a little background They're all great, but I'll just focus on my two favorites.
"Betty and the Beast" is clearly a Beauty and[...]

Die Kitty Die, from former Archie artist/writer Fernando Ruiz and still-there Archie artist/writer Dan Parent, is brilliant The story and characters parody various well-known characters and companies, and gives a fantastic tongue-in-cheek look at the state of the current comic industry I enjoyed the first series immensely, and I'm glad Ruiz and Parent have[...]
The bulk of them are from Dan Parent, but we also have some in here from writer Craig Boldman and artists Pat & Tim Kennedy, such as "Jughead and Archie in Snow Struck".
This particular story was published in Jughead and Archie Comics Winter Annual #18 from January 2016 It's a cute story about Archie trying[...]

Dan Parent does it again with another new classic Archie fairy tale story This time it features Betty and Veronica in "Thumbelonica"!
When Betty finds a miniature Veronica in her garden, Betty is initially elated Unfortunately Veronica is well, herself, in any version (save for Riverdale) and Betty can't stand her The story is cute[...]

We continue with Dan Parent's take on another classic fairy, Hansel and Gretel Betty and Archie play the lead characters who are trying to make a delivery to an unknown character.
In typical Archie fashion the duo gets lost, Archie's phone dies, and when they try to follow his chip trail back home, they discover[...]

According to Dan Parent, Archie will be doing a number of fairly tale stories for the classic Archie line In this issue of Betty and Veronica Friends: Comics Annual we have a re-telling of The Princess and the Pea called The Princess and the Pea-Brained.
It's safe to assume Archie is the pea brain, as he[...]
Their relationship has taken the back burner, but with Grundy gone and Archie all alone, I have a feeling we'll be exploring this plot that was introduced by Dan Parent a few years ago.
We also learn that a majority of the characters in this show are a part of the founding families of Riverdale, and
they're[...]
She's bossy, fun, a shopaholic, and she likes to make a grand entrance.
In the opening story by Dan Parent called "Give My Regards to Brigitte", Brigitte is about to make her Broadway debut as Julie in Romeo and Juliet All of her Riverdale friends are there to see her and the night is starting off[...]
While Dan Parent is the artist and writer, the story has a strong Rex W Lindsay vibe to it Personally I love it It reminded me heavily of my childhood and I ate it up The story is straightforward and cute Archie is headed to perform on a children's television show, one that Jughead just[...]
In "My, Myself, and I" from the Pope of Archie Dan Parent, Reggie asks Betty to help him write his memoirs Betty is quick to point out that they're still in high school, but this doesn't phase Reggie After all, he's planning on doing this for the rest of his life.

Usually the digest and reprint books feature a new Dan Parent story, and while Dan is fantastic in every sense of the word, I'm glad to see a Lucey story lead the book.
This book really shines with showcasing different artists You have stories from Pat & Tim Kennedy, Fernando Ruiz, Stan Goldberg, Dan Parent, Jeff[...]
Right off the bat, we're back with Jughead telling Archie why he doesn't trust Veronica. Veronica and Jughead's relationship has always been an interest
Dan Parent delights us again with more classic gags and feel good stories, which is always a welcome change in today's world We open this book with "When In Rome" which centers around the gang Betty calls Reggie out within the first few panels for not volunteering for the school's food drive this upcoming weekend,[...]
At least that's what I'm getting from Dan Parent's gag cover We open with a story called "Bridesmaids", in which Veronica is going into meltdown mode over her admittedly ugly bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding Thankfully her cousin Harper saves the day, and comes up with something more acceptable The story is short and[...]
