The Masked Singer Season 3 Review: In Space, No One Can Hear You Lose

The Masked Singer selected our Top Five contestants as the third season inches closer to the grand finale. The FOX competition series is tight and anyone can win. FOX's smash hit sent home a fan favorite and delivered an unmasking that was written in the stars. Here's a detailed recap of the clues and performances. Plus, our sure-fire guesses on Kitty, Rhino, Frog, Astronaut, Night Angel, and Turtle. Watch this video to hear the proof for yourselves:

Everyone is delivering fantastic performances at this point. Nobody slipped up, which makes it even harder to send someone home. All contestants are bringing their A-game. Although we may have their identities pegged already, The Masked Singer is still very entertaining to watch. We also have great dancers this season. We need a Frog vs Turtle dance battle before one of them goes home! Each week blows us away with moving musical numbers.

Time to Take a Look at Tiff's Takes on The Masked Singer

After analyzing the overlapped vocals, viewers have accurately identified the Top Six contestants for quite some time. After hesitantly guessing Kate Bosworth for Kitty, I've joined the Jackie Evancho bandwagon. The young opera prodigy on America's Got Talent has grown since I last saw her. Rhino is definitely former baseball player Barry Zito. How has he not cut a country album yet? Turtle is teen actor/singer Jesse McCartney. That falsetto is undeniable. Night Angel sounds just like soulful Kandi Burress. Frog has kept me on the fence because he doesn't really sound like Bow Wow, but the clues fit. I think Bow Wow has been trying to throw his voice to keep people guessing.

Sadly, the Astronaut's mission has been aborted. Hunter Hayes has been a personal favorite from the start, so I'm really bummed to see him go. I thought he'd make it to the finals for sure. He always sings with so much heart and passion. Hayes was very sweet and humble in his After The Mask interview. He's even cheering on his face-off rival, Turtle. Both contestants received the same celebrity guesses throughout the season. Even though they're identifiably different, the journey has made them kindred-spirits.

Here's a look at the next episode of FOX's The Masked Singer ("A Quarter Mask Crisis: The Quarter Finals"), as well as this week's The Masked Singer: After The Mask:

Better Late Than Never's Jeff Dye joins the panel of judges. As a cheeky comedian, he'll surely bring some fun jabs and sarcastic guesses to the table. Or he might genuinely enjoy the shenanigans. It's hard to tell at this point. Curmudgeon Gordon Ramsey is a real fan of the show and watches with his kids. I was pleasantly surprised by his investment in the contestants and the thoughtfulness of his guesses. I assumed he'd make light of the competition.

It just goes to show you the power of this guilty pleasure. Viewers of all ages get hooked on this spectacular guessing game. Stay tuned for  After The Mask. The show offers interesting insights and touching interviews with unmasked contestants.
