The White Phoenix of the Crown is the purified form of the cosmic Phoenix Force that has bonded fully with X-Men's Jean Grey. This version of the purified Phoenix Force was featured in a variety of Marvel Comics stories like Phoenix: Endsong (2004) and New Avengers (2010) arcs. Unlike the fiery Dark Phoenix, this form is pure, wise, and gentle in nature. The White Phoenix emerged after Jean's rebirth, exorcising her bonds with the troubled Phoenix Force to merge entirely with it. In New Avengers comics, she even aids the team during space-based crises and the war against Thanos, before leaving Earth because of its cosmic burden.
Now the White Phoenix rises once more as Iron Studios debuts their latest X-Men 1/10 statue that stands 8" tall. This hand-painted statue captures Jean in her purest form with white and gold elements, with a fiery and translucent sculpted base. X-Men fans will also be able to pair this version with their previous Red Phoenix 1/10 statue. Pre-orders for Iron Studios' limited edition White Phoenix of the Crown statue are up, but are currently waitlisted through Sideshow for $205.
