Inside Look At Frank Thorne's Red Sonja Artist Edition Vol II

Frank Thorne Vol 2There are a handful of times when an artist becomes synonymous with the character they draw. For some people you think of Walt Simonson you think of Thor, Curt Swan you think of Superman… and for a lot of folks you think of  Frank Thorne you think of Red Sonja. Thorne took over the character from Dick Giordano in 1976 when she appeared in Marvel Feature and he drew most of her adventures in her solo series from 1977 to 1979. His work helped not only define the character but helped to create an archetype in fantasy literature.

Dynamite has sent us a preivew for the upcoming Frank Thorne's Red Sonja Artist Edition Volume Two. Having seen the first volume, I can only imagine that this one will be just as impressive. Like you are looking at the original art.
