X-ual Healing: The Most Dangerous Game Played in Old Man Logan #41
Sworn to sell comics for Marvel executives who feared and hated the fact that Fox owned their movie rights, The Uncanny X-Men suffered great indignities, but with a corporate merger on the way, the X-Men can finally get back to doing what they do best: being objectively the best franchise in comics.
Each week, armed with the joy, heartbreak, and frustration of 30+ years of reading X-Men comics, we read every new X-book that comes out, recap the events, provide the historical context so you can read it on Marvel Unlimited, and wonder when Marvel will let Chris Claremont write something again.
It's the way X-Men comics were meant to be read! It's the column that can only be known as…

KRAVEN'S HUNT FOR LOGAN !
It's a showdown in the Savage Land! Will Logan be able to outwit Kraven, Marvel's greatest hunter? And what's behind Kraven's obsession with killing Logan?
32 PGS./Parental Advisory …$3.99
It's a new storyline for Old Man Logan, and fans are finally getting the match-up they've been asking for: Logan vs Kraven the Hunter! What, you say you didn't ask for that? Well, it's too late for Marvel to return all those commemorative t-shirts they printed.
In any case, Old Man Logan #41 opens with Kraven purchasing the severed hand of Logan, complete with adamantium claws (see Old Man Logan #33 for Logan's Luke Skywalker moment), in Tokyo, for $500,000.
Meanwhile, in Bridgeton, New Jersey outside a pub, Logan is in a fistfight with Roughouse and Bloodscream, who you may remember from his early Madripoor days. Logan is kind of glad to see them. Logan learns that they've been hired to capture him, but before he can get them to tell him who hired them, he's taken out by a sniper with tranquilizer darts. It's Kraven.
Logan wakes up in a cage in Kraven's airplane. Kraven explains that he always wanted to hunt Logan, but clearly waited too long since Logan is old and broken down now. He says he's going to put him out of his misery and gives him a four-hour head start. He drops the cage out of the plane with a parachute, sending Logan to the wilderness below in… the Savage Land!
Logan gives us some basic exposition about both the Savage Land and Kraven, then gets into a fight with some dire wolves. Meanwhile, Kraven lands and heads off in hunt of Logan. Kraven soon catches up with him, and they fight, claws vs. knives. But they're interrupted by a dinosaur attack.
As they face down the dino, that's the end of the issue.
The Bottom Line
Claws. Knives. A fight to the death. Dinosaurs. Bold fashion choices. Don't look for a lot of philosophy in this one. But if you're into violence…

Roughhouse and Bloodstrike first appeared in Wolverine #4.
Surprising as it is, Kraven hasn't had much interaction with Wolverine, but he did once steal his DNA for Mister Sinister in the 2008 X-Men/Spider-Man mini-series, which led to this whole Xraven thing… well, you're better off just reading it on Marvel Unlimited.
