"Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered" is Coming This Winter

One of the surprise announcements to come out of the Square Enix E3 Showcase was the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remastered edition.

SE is bringing back Crystal Chronicles and releasing the updated version on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, as well as on mobile for both iOS and Android.

The game's story can be summed up pretty easy, just with the words "something, something, crystals" but if you want more details, here's the official story description:

Since long ago, the dangerous gas miasma has threatened to consume the world. Crystals hold back the gas, but their power is not eternal. Follow the journey of four classes of adventurers on a perilous mission to protect their home. These are the "Crystal Chronicles."

Additionally, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will come with an online multiplayer mode that allows you to caravan with friends long distance.
