State of Decay 2 Collector's Edition Comes with Zombie Mask

Microsoft has revealed the Collector's Edition for State of Decay 2, which comes with a spooky zombie mask, so you can properly immerse yourself in the game. It also comes with a dismembered finger usb drive, human brain-styled case stand, and a SteelBook case. This is definitely a worthy Collector's Edition for any zombie fan.

At Xbox, we focus on giving players a lot of choices to show their love for our franchises. Last week, we announced that State of Decay 2 will be launching on May 22, 2018 with both a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition (as well as a part of Xbox Game Pass). Today, we have something new to announce for the zombie survival fan: the State of Decay 2 Collector's Edition.

The Collector's Edition includes an exclusive SteelBook case, zombie mask, and "thumb-drive," this collectible edition also includes a State of Decay 2 patch and a human brain SteelBook stand. Fans can pre-order the Collector's Edition today at their favorite retailer for $69.99. Please note, that State of Decay 2 Collector's Edition only includes items pictured above*.

As someone who has absolutely gotten "into character" to work on zombie-related media, I can absolutely endorse the decision to wear a zombie mask while playing a zombie survival game. While the sculpt on this mask is not the most sophisticated, who could say no to a game that comes with a zombie mask? Not me, personally.

You can also pick up the game through the Xbox Games Pass, or by pre-ordering the $29.99 Standard Edition or $49.99 Ultimate Edition. And before you ask, no, the State of Decay sequel will not have micro-transactions.

State of Decay 2 will be releasing on May 22, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10.
