Crackdown 3, Quantum Break And Scalebound Could Come To PC Says Xbox Boss

scalebound-gamescom-2015-drew-and-thubanLast week were were treated to our first looks at Crackdown 3 and Scalebound at Gamescom, which are both Xbox One exclusives coming next year. They fill out what is looking like an impressive year for the console in 2016, and should do a lot to keep the current Xbox One growth going.

Xbox Boss Phil Spencer did concede that the titles, as well as Quantum Break could one day come to PC to in a recent interview with PCGamer. While he explained that the games somewhat missed the boat on the current Windows 10 initiative, he wouldn't rule out the titles ever coming to the platform.

In the case of things like Scalebound or Crackdown or Quantum Break, you know, just to be completely honest with you, we started those games before we really looked at expanding into Windows in the way that I wanted to bring as part of becoming head of Xbox. I'm trying to be more deliberate in the choices that we make.

It's not to say those games could never come to Windows, but right now we're on the path to finish the great games that they've started, and I want that to be the case.

I wouldn't say that this is a ringing endorsement or a hard confirmation, but it is good to know that they are at least considering it. The more games that go cross platform I think the better for everyone involved honestly.
