Job Opening Suggest Warcraft 3, Diablo 2 And StarCraft Remasters
Blizzard certainly aren't the company they were when they were first off making isometric games. Diablo, WarCraft and StarCraft helped to forge the powerhouse we know today though. So much so, there are certainly a sect of fans asking for a return to those kinds of games.
Well, according to this new job posting (via IGN) for a Senior Software Engineer, remasters could be coming from WarCraft 3, Diablo 2 and StarCraft remasters. The position states the job is for:
Qualities that made StarCraft, Warcraft III, and Diablo II the titans of their day. Evolving operating systems, hardware, and online services have made them more difficult to be experienced by their loyal followers or reaching a new generation.
We're restoring them to glory, and we need your engineering talents, your passion, and your ability to get tough jobs done.
Interesting.
The question remains if these would be for full remasters or just upports for modern PCs, but it is fun to consider these games completely redone. I'll let you know if there are any developements
