You Can Take "Daemon X Machina" on a Test Drive Right Now
If you can't wait until Daemon X Machina releases next week, you can demo the game on the Nintendo Switch e-shop right now. The full game launches on September 13, 2019, however the Prologue is available as a demo. So players can pilot their mechs through the beginning of the game, and later carry that progress onwards once the full game launches.
In addition to playing the game's opening before the launch, players who download the free Daemon X Machina demo can play the game in local co-op with up to four players, which is honestly a pretty cool bonus for a demo.
If you don't know much about the mech title, the game description according to Nintendo reads:
IT WAS THE GREATEST DISASTER IN RECORDED HISTORY.
The moon tore apart, turning the sky into a kaleidoscope of red light that illuminated all who watched from below. A mysterious material called Femto rained down upon the world, bringing strange powers to those who touched it.
Now you must survive this apocalyptic new age as a mercenary, piloting powerful mechs to defend the planet from the corrupted machines called Immortals in this brand-new action game from Kenichiro Tsukuda (Armored Core) and mechanical concept designer Shoji Kawamori.
