Johnny Cage Will Be In Mortal Kombat X Says Producer

Here's something that'll tickle a lot of Mortal Kombat fans in the right ways. It looks like Johnny Cage will be a playable fighter in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X.

Speaking in a video with Game Crate at GDC, NetherRealm Studios' senior producer Adam Urban said:

You'll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we're also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny. You'll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more.

Warner Brothers have since pulled the video down and are supposedly making claims on others posting the video up. This could give the news some credence, suggesting that Urban said something he maybe shouldn't have.

I do feel bad for him as developers do sometimes misspeak and it must be hard to keep track of everything revealed.
