Martin Scorsese's Bob Dylan Documentary 'Rolling Thunder' Coming to Netflix

Martin Scorsese is re-teaming with Bob Dylan for a new documentary project coming exclusively to Netflix. Called "Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese", it's a safe bet this won't be your average music documentary.

This also isn't the first time the two titans of their industries have worked together. In 2005, Scorsese directed "No Direction Home: Bob Dylan", which chronicled Dylan's 1965-66 "going electric" period.

Variety reports exclusive knowledge of this project, citing a semi-quote from Netflix:

"'Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese' captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 and the joyous music that Dylan performed during the fall of that year. Part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream, 'Rolling Thunder' is a one of a kind experiencefrom master filmmaker Martin Scorsese."

There isn't really anything else known about the project, other than a possible 2019 release date on Netflix. We'll let you know what else we hear about it.
