WWE SmackDown Preview: Roman Reigns Still Has Everyone Talking

Expect Randy Orton, L.A. Knight & A.J. Styles to have a lot to say about WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns tonight on WWE SmackDown.

Here's all you need to know about just how big Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is to the WWE. Despite all of the jokes that folks want to make about him being off television more than he's on, the dude's presence is still felt in some very big ways, even when he's not physically there to make his way to the ring. With WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis having now made Reigns' title match at "Royal Rumble" a Fatal 4-Way Match with Randy Orton, LA Knight & AJ Styles, expect the latter three to be talking a lot of Reigns tonight as they prepare for their title shots. But with their main target not around, will Orton, Knight & Styles take on their pent-up aggression on others – or each other? As if that's not enough, we also have Bianca Belair and Bayley going one-on-one, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro looking to continue their war with Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo, and Grayson Waller apparently defending Logan Paul's honor by throwing down with Cameron Grimes.

Here's a look at the official preview that was released for tonight's edition of FOX's WWE SmackDown – set to be unleashed at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT – along with some important background video intel that you need to know:

Randy Orton, LA Knight and AJ Styles prepare for Roman Reigns: The Tribal Chief's plan last week monumentally backfired, and now The Head of the Table must defend his title at Royal Rumble against all three men involved in last week's Triple Threat Match: Randy Orton, LA Knight and AJ Styles. After SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made the bombshell revelation, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was furious, requesting Paul Heyman fix their problem during a backstage exclusive. With the huge Fatal 4-Way looming, Orton, Styles, and Knight will need to execute their game plans in preparation for the chance to become champion.

Bianca Belair Battles Bayley: The EST will look to kick start her Road to WrestleMania when she faces fellow Royal Rumble competitor Bayley. The two confronted each other last week as WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky requested that Bayley take out Belair.

Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro to Battle Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo: The LWO's Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro will look to defend the honor of their group as they take on Santos Escobar's newest partners, Angel and Humberto. Wilde and Del Toro are still riding high after an impressive showing in NXT, where they teamed with Carlito to take down the No Quarter Catch Crew, but their attention now turns back to LWO business as they look to silence Escobar by defeating Angel and Humberto.

Cameron Grimes Takes on Grayson Waller: Last week, Cameron Grimes drew the ire of Grayson Waller after he made fun of Logan Paul being knocked out. Waller confronted Grimes and knocked him down, setting up this exhibition match. The two squared off in November, with The Arrogant Aussie coming out on top.
