Mafia III Trailer Is Bleak But Hints At Deeply Interesting Game
Mafia III was announced a few days ago and we were then promised a full reveal today. That finally came in the way of a very interesting looking cinematic trailer.
The game takes place in 1968 in New Orleans, and you take on the role of Lincoln Clay. It seems this dude is pretty serious about family too. So much so, he will just feed people to alligators for messing with his. Take a look. It is pretty bleak stuff:

What really has me grabbed though is the historical context in the game. It shows a really nasty time in the Mafia's history as they get involved with heroine and ravaged communities. It also is tackling the black Mafia and the civil rights movement in Lousiana at the time. Take a look at this video preview by IGN. This game looks dark and seedy, but I actually have some faith it will be done in an accurate way as opposed to purely glorifying the awful history.
