Spider-Man Vintage Collection Kingpin Revealed by Hasbro

Pre-orders are live for the next addition to the Marvel Legends Vintage Spider-Man collection. We have already seen a couple of these figures at the New York Toy Fair 2020. With big hitters like Gwen Stacy (who will come with a Mary Jane Watson head), Peter Parker, and Mysterio. This time another villain has entered New York City and his name is Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin. Most notably for his rivalry with Daredevil, the characters' first debut was actually in The Amazing Spider-Man #50. Unlike the comic, this figure is based around the 1990s animated Spider-Man series. This series is beloved by fans and so will this set of upcoming vintage figures. They will all be placed on a retro card back with features from the cartoon logo and character design. Kingpin will come with a secondary bruised face sculpt and his iconic cane. The figure is nicely designed and Hasbro does right to bring that signature cartoon stylings to life.

The Marvel Legends Spider-Man Vintage Collection Kingpin figure captures the iconic villain perfectly. The updated sculpt and the packaging combine two great features in one. The packaging is so delightful that it would be hard for me to even open it. That is the hardship with being a card back collector though. The Kingpin is priced at $30 and set to release between August and September 2020. Pre-orders are already live and you can find them located here. I can not wait to see what figures they decide to bring to life next for this series. There are a lot of characters from the cartoon that would look amazing on these cards back. Some figures I would like to see in the future are Venom, Carnage, Hydro-Man, Morbius, and Black Cat.
