Call Of Duty WWII Gives Us The Lay Of The Land At Sony's E3 Show
Activision never really does much with E3, they didn't even have a booth at the show last year despite advertising in the convention center, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of presence they have at the trade show this year as they do have a panel planned at the E3 Coliseum. Despite that, we have been anxiously waiting to see what they roll out for Call of Duty: World War II at the Sony show. Last year saw both Destiny: the Rise of Iron and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare at the Sony conference and this year was no different.
Still, as excited as we are to see the franchise go back to basics and return to the Second World War, we wanted to know how this WWII-based COD would be different. Sure, the graphics and gameplay were going to be updated and much more impressive, but what about the campaign missions? That the game was going to take place in the Western Theatre of the Second World War was no mystery, but what battles would we revisit?
Today's trailer answered all of those questions. The English Channel, Crimea, Aachon, it's bound to be one hell of a ride. And it's out November 3rd.
