Enjoying the Animated Beauty That is Banner Saga 3

Probably the highlight of day 3 at PAX East was being able to go over and check out the animated beauty that was the tactical RPG Banner Saga 3, as we got to try out a small demo for the game. What we got to play was basically a big enough build to give us an idea of how the game will work out, but not enough for us to learn a lot from the story, so we'll keep much of what we learned spoiler free. The battle we encountered at a campsite was made up of soldiers and spellcasters who basically could mess our party up big time if we didn't pay attention to what we were doing. Every animation of movement, action, and even death was a sight to behold as this is probably the best looking game in the series.

All of the tactical RPG mechanics worked like a charm with little doubt that whatever the final product may be will turn out awesome. Every character and their class have their own set of movements and reach for attacks and spells that will make building a party and using the characters from the series very fun and interesting to mess with. All I can say after playing the 30 minutes is that I seriously want this game in my hands yesterday. Banner Saga 3 looks amazing, even for what little we got to play here. It's going to be a long, long, long wait until we see the game be released on July 24th for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
