Let's Take A look At Han Solo and Lando Calrissian Star Wars Black Series Figures

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters in a few weeks, and the merchandise blitz started this weekend. Star Wars collectors are flooding stores looking for the new Black Series 6-inch, the return of The Vintage Collection, new ships, Funko Pops…you name it. That is, if they can actually find the stuff. For those who have, they should be happy with the two figures we are going to take a look at today- the Black Series Han Solo himself and one Lando Calrissian.

I think it is time for a new box look Hasbro. While there is nothing really wrong with the current incarnation, it has been around now for awhile and they all blend together. At least change the background and accent colors like you have with figures like the Spirit Obi-Wan exclusive last year. If you have seen one, you have seen them all.

These figures take advantage of the new face print technology that Hasbro is using on their figures now, and boy does it make a world of difference. This looks like a pretty spot on Alden Ehrenreich as far as I am concerned. A little bit more emotion on the face would have been nice, like a sly little smile or such. I don't hate it, but it could have been better. Other than that- the figure is pretty great. good range of motion on the arms, mine also had a great paint job. I will always pose Han with his hand on the holster forever, so achieving that pose was easy. Be careful with the holster though. The strap is very thin and will rip easily.

Lando is perfect. I will tell you right now, besides having a plastic cape instead of cloth, there is zero wrong with this figure. A perfect likeness of Donald Glover. An amazing scarf. Colors that pop. A great blaster that fits into the extended holster perfectly. Just a stellar figure. Get him as soon as possible.

These are in stores now, and can also be ordered here.
