Ready to head off on a new adventure? Life is Strange 2 is getting its turn at a physical release next winter, and if you want in on it, you'd better start pre-ordering soon.

In February 2020, the game will be headed to retail in both Standard and Collector's editions. While European gamers get both releases a bit sooner in December, the fact that North American players are getting them all should be appreciated, honestly.

You can nab the Life is Strange 2 Collector's Edition, if you're a huge fan (or you just like big collectible boxes of stuff). It's a Square Enix Store exclusive and it'll run you $69.99. It's available to pre-order now. Here's everything you get with it:

  • The Complete Season – episodes 1-5 of Life is Strange 2
  • Bonus Game – The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
  • Arcadia Bay Patches – these let you customize Sean's in-game backpack.
  • Jonathan Morali's official score – 4x 7 inch Vinyl Box Set featuring the game's amazing music
  • 32-page hardcover artbook – featuring concept art from Life is Strange 2
  • 4 inch Sean and 3 inch Daniel vinyl figurines
  • Collector's Edition presentation box

If you're not into all the fun extras, you can opt for the Standard Edition instead. It's also available to pre-order now. Here's what you get with it, for $39.99:

  • The Complete Season – episodes 1-5 of Life is Strange 2
  • Bonus Game – The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
  • Arcadia Bay Patches – these items let you customize Sean's in-game backpack
  • 3 x art cards

The sequel to the time-manipulating adventure Life is Strange may not be as good as the original, but it's still a heartfelt adventure that's well worth heading out on, especially if you're a fan of Dontnod's other titles. It's got a bit of a different flavor, that's for sure.
