According to data published by global research firm WitsView, MSI has reached second place within the curved gaming monitor market (which takes up to 60% of the whole monitor market), and first place in growth within the gaming monitor industry, in a mere two years. This news has cemented the company's desire to challenge itself in the design of their gaming monitors in years to come.
With a complete roadmap for the 24" to 34" monitors, the company's next plan is to incorporate gaming monitors with high resolution and big panels into its product line. For example, the brand new Optix MPG341CQR is the gaming monitor that utilizes 34" big panels, HDR 400, 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate and along with GameSense and facial recognition technology.
MSI has also increased its influence in the world of esports with the standard flat panel gaming monitors. Last year, the Oculux NXG251R was used by professional gamers at the MSI MGA and ESL One. This year they released the new and improved Oculux NXG252R with an even faster response time of 0.5ms.
Apart from developing the new specs for it's monitors, MSI has also been improving the software part of its gaming monitors to provide the optimum gaming experience for its gamers. With MSI's exclusive Micro Control Unit (MCU) being embedded into several of their gaming monitors, they have created the gaming monitors that can communicate with desktop efficiently. Based on such design, MSI has been able to meet the market trend, putting AI element, GameSense, and powerful Gaming OSD into its monitors to elevate user experience.
MSI has also incorporated the design of a mouse bungee and camera cradle into its Gaming Monitors, catering to the popular streamer/ gamer community.
