Take a Bit of a Look at the Story of Monster Hunter World in the PSX trailer
We've seen a lot of Monster Hunter World since it was first announced back at E3, and every time we see more of it, the game seems to have come together quite a bit more. That's just as true now that we sit down with the Third Fleet Trailer which premiered at PSX tonight. The Third Fleet trailer shows us a lot more of the game's storyline, with some glimpses at NPCs, and larger scale battles than what we've seen so far. It really does feel like we are part of a world this time around in Monster Hunter instead of the kind of lone-wolf we often end up as. Which is pretty nice. It is a multiplayer game, so having a set up that involves massive battles with tons of NPCs just kind of fits in there.
We got a look at some new features last week, and some more exciting footage back in late November.
There's also a PS Plus Beta for Monster Hunter: World on the way. The beta will start on December 9th at 9 a.m. PST, which translates to Noon EST, 5 p.m. GMT, 6 p.m. CET and 2 a.m. (on the 10th) in Japan. The beta test will close on December 12th at the same hour so we get three full days of Monster Hunter World.
The PSX trailer for Monster Hunter World is below. The game is set to release on January 26th, 2018 on PlayStation 4.
The fate of the New World is your hands, hunters. Monster Hunter: World comes to PlayStation 4 on January 26, 2018.
