Kojima Productions First Game Is Console Exclusive To PS4 But Will Come To PC Later
So, now the ink is dry, details about Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions' first title are starting to surface.
In a Q&A with Medium, several things have become clear, defining the parameters of the developers relationship with Sony particularly. Perhaps the most key is that the studio's first game with be a console exclusive on the PlayStation 4, but will also come to PC at an undefined point after the initial release. This agreement with Sony is only active for the first game though so all bets are off in the future.
Sony are also only publishing the game, with no real financial stake in Kojima Productions, so the developer will remain independent.
On top of that, it was also stated that the studio isn't working on Metal Gear or Silent Hills, but that should be obvious as those are owned by Konami.
Beyond that, we only have speculation, and I'll leave that to you guys for now.
