22 Million PlayStation 4s Have Been Sold In Total
The PlayStation 4 has sold like gangbusters thus far. For a generation that some predicted would bomb, the success of the console has been very healthy for the industry.
Sony have just provided some context for their success too. In a financial report, the company said that they have sold 22.3 million units. 14.8 million of those we sold in the financial year that ended on March 31st.
The gaming division has also brought the entire company back into the black, meaning it's probably the most successful part of Sony. Not bad for a company who has had severe financial woes for a while.
