John Cena Thanks Seth Rollins for Telling Him Off Backstage, Takes Out Aggression on The Miz

Global entertainment superstar John Cena is so damn friendly, even when a WWE colleague tells him off backstage, he takes it with grace and humility and then thanks that colleague on Twitter afterward. Ahead of Monday Night Raw, Cena took to Twitter to Twitter to thank Seth Rollins for taking him to task about his "shortcomings."

It's unknown which shortcomings Rollins addressed. Perhaps it was Cena's somewhat hypocritical part-time WWE schedule, with Cena seemingly more interested in his burgeoning movie career and side gig as a Nickelodeon host than in actually showing up to wrestle every week. Perhaps he took issue with the way Cena buries his opponents. Whatever the case, Rollins kept mum, replying to Cena's tweet with only:

Maybe Rollins is referencing his former Shield colleague, Roman Reigns, who is even more John Cena than John Cena is, and is sure to win the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

Though Cena was friendly about the encounter on Twitter, one can't help but wonder whether the attack from Rollins was on Cena's mind when he opened Monday Night Raw by challenging The Miz to a match, with the loser entering the Elimination Chamber first at the Elimination Chamber PPV on February 25.

Cena first humiliated Miz by telling him fans were laughing at the idea of Miz defeating Brock Lesnar, then lulled him into a false sense of security by allowing Miz's cohorts, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, to beat him down before the match. But after Miz accepted the match, Kurt Angle arrived and barred Axel and Dallas from ringside, leaving Miz alone with Cena.

Several commercial breaks later, Miz gave the match his best effort, but Cena, as he does, overcame The Miz's valiant efforts and performed an Attitude Adjustment off the ropes, winning the match, and dooming Miz to the worst odds in the Elimination Chamber match.

Thanks a lot, Seth Rollins.
