Square Enix Are Hosting An E3 Press Conference This Year
It seems that Square Enix have thrown their hat in the ring of E3 press conferences this year. It's a space that is already getting pretty crowded what with Bethesda already announcing their first show ever alongside convention regulars Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and PlayStation.
This is an understandable move though as Square's upcoming slate is packed. Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 are all slated for the near future.
Weirdly, the developer has decided to hold the conference on June 16th. That is the first official day of the show floor, making it pretty awkward for show goers to cover. It starts at 9AM, before the doors open, but there will certainly be a rush the morning.
I'll persevere to get the conference attended too while I'm out there. There could be some genuine surprises here and a lot of new details about upcoming big titles.
