Fox Sets 'X-Files' Sneak Peek, 'Orville' Screening, And More For NYCC 2017
With about a month to go before one of the largest pop culture conventions in the country opens its doors for its 12th year, fans are clamoring to know which of their favorite television shows will be making the pilgrimage to New York Comic Con 2017 (NYCC 2017) this year.
Fox is one of the first out of the gate to answer the "geek call," announcing on Monday that the network would be bringing a sneak preview of the The X-Files' new 10-episode season. Fox will also be hosting panels, screenings and "sneak peeks" at Season 2 of The Exorcist; Seth MacFarlane's The Orville, the 300th episode of Family Guy; and The Gifted.
David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Amy Acker, John Cho, Seth Green, Adrianne Palicki, Stephen Moyer, Jamie Chung, Ben Daniels, Alfonso Herrera, Seth MacFarlane, Zuleikha Robinson, Mitch Pileggi and Alex Borstein are expected to be in attendance to represent their respective series; as well as executive producers Chris Carter, Brannon Braga, David A. Goodman, Matt Nix, Rich Appel, and Jeremy Slater.

Goodman and Brannon Braga for an extended look at an unaired episode and discussion about the hit FOX show! The Orville is a one-hour science fiction comedic drama set 400 years in the future that follows the adventures of the U.S.S. Orville, a mid-level exploratory vessel where the human and alien crew face the wonders and dangers of outer space while also dealing with the familiar, often humorous problems of regular people in a workplace…even though some of those people are from other planets, and the workplace is a faster-than-light spaceship.
