Comic book industry birthdays

There may still not be much of a party atmosphere right now. All depends on which state you are living in. But comics folk are still getting older and still celebrating that special date.

  • Nick Bradshaw, artist on X-Men, Justice League, Amazing Spider-Man, Army Of Darkness.
  • Comic store employee RJ Bowman.
  • Mitch Byrd, artist on Cat And Mouse, Guy Gardner: Warrior, Miss Fury and Darkstars.

Happening today.

  • Storyboard/Comic Workshop by Coral Gables Art Cinema, 2020 Miami Children's Film Festival, 9:30 am to 11:00 am ET. Ages 7 to 13. "In this virtual workshop, we are going to look at the process behind creating a comic page. We will focus on how to break down an idea for a comic into a visual script, and to make it easy and fun to read by using different types of panels, shots, and perspectives.
MATERIALS: Paper, pencils, erasers, colors, and markers, (print b/w class templates)".
