Sacred Fire Raised $65,000 In Their Kickstarter

Sacred Fire

Independent developer Poetic Studio's Kickstarter campaign for Sacred Fire has successfully concluded by reaching its three stretch goals in the final hours. As a result, the narrative-based, psychological RPG for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will include extended character customization, and expanded voice-over content for the main player character and key supporting cast.

Set for release on PC in Spring 2018 (with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases to follow afterwards), Sacred Fire surpassed its initial funding target of $50,000 USD, and concluded its Kickstarter campaign by raising exactly $65,000 USD. Which isn't bad for a psychological strategy game.

Using Poetic Studio's custom "Emotions & Motivations" storytelling platform, players can resolve conflicts in Sacred Fire by using a combination of smarts, skill, looks or empathy. To do so, they must build inner balance by coping with things such as fear and anger. Only a stable and strong personality can win respect with bravery in combat, deal with the political turmoil within their own ranks and rise above the fog of war to lead Caledonia to her fate. Will you embrace revenge and forcefully bring about freedom for yourself and your people – or will you fight for a better world through courage, sacrifice and diplomacy? Do remember, in Sacred Fire, you are your own worst enemy.

The game also boasts the vocal talents of Doug Cockle, known mostly for his work voicing Geralt of Rivia in CD Projekt Red's The Witcher series.
