The Shining, Psycho, Beetlejuice, And More New Horror From Funko

I don't know about you, but a adorable jack Torrance from The Shining on my desk at work was not something I thought I needed until i opened up the Funko blog this morning and saw one. Now, If I don't have one my desk will feel incomplete. For horror fans, a new wave of Funko Horror Pops and Dorbz are coming your way!

They are adorable, yet creepy.
A new wave of Horror Dorbz has arrived!

This time around we have the ghost with the most, Beetlejuice!
Pennywise the Dancing Clown from Stephen King's IT (1990).
From the Stanley Kubrick psychological horror film The Shining,
we have Jack Torrance, complete with his signature axe!

Look for the frozen version of Jack Torrance!
This chase has a rarity of 1-in-6!

While not a big Dorbz collector myself(I prefer Pint Size Heroes), the Pennywise and Frozen Jack Torrance are two that I might make an exception for. Clowns really freak me out, but It is one of my most anticipated films this year, so to celebrate his big return to the screen I may pick one up. Two exclusives here as well: a variant Beetlejuice at Books A Million and Gizmo will only be available at Hot Topic. These will be in stores in September.

These characters are horrific!
Our newest series of Pop! Horror is here and ready to terrify you.

This series features Carrie in her iconic bloody prom dress;
From the horror classic Psycho, the infamous
Norman Bates, dressed as mother;
Tiffany, Chucky's frightening partner in
crime from Bride of Chucky;
Rounding out the series, from the Conjuring franchise,
is the evil possessed doll, Annabelle!

Look for the Bride of Chucky chase variant,
Tiffany splattered in blood! A 1-in-6 rarity!

The Norman Bates Pops are awesome, I especially like the black and white exclusive for FYE. Another chase pops up (ha!) with the Tiffany Pop from the franchise that still terrifies me, Child's Play/Chucky. And I am sure people will want the Carrie, but it doesn't do much for me. Look for these in August.

but we won't hold that against them,
as they are now receiving the Pop! vinyl treatment!

Now these are all must-buys. The Shining is one of my all-time favs, and as I said at the beginning, Jack Torrance is an awesome looking Pop. The blood splatter on the box window for these is a nice touch. The chase Frozen jack is going to be a tough get, but hopefully if I order two from Amazon that will do the trick, I have had good luck with that as of late. These will also be in stores in August.
