Wolverine Gets Two New Gentle Giant Statues This Winter

Wolverine has two new statues coming from Gentle Giant this winter. One is an Old Man Logan version standing at 1:8 scale and retailing for $159.99. It is inspired by the cover for Old Man Logan #24 and the "Past Lives" story arc. The paint wash on the clothes and duster really give this one all kinds of character and make it really pop. Wandering through an alternate future universe designated as Earth-807128 aka "the Wastelands", where super villains overthrew the super heroes, old man Logan has known heartbreak his whole life. A failure from the past haunts Logan – and to correct his mistakes, he'll need magical assistance! But, when he faces opposition, the man who was once Wolverine will turn to an unlikely – and potentially treacherous ally! Spiraling through his own living memories, and forced to relive moments both poignant and painful, will Logan be tempted to try to put right what once went wrong? And what might the consequences be?

Gentle Giant celebrates almost 45 years of Wolverine's history with our newest 1:8th scale Collector's Gallery Statue. The Wolverine/Old Man Logan '08 is the 3rd statue in our recently announced Wolverine Collector's Gallery series. The Wolverine '08 Collector's Gallery statue comes with real metal claws, an attitude of "being the best at what he does" and is inspired by the cover art for Old Man Logan Vol. 2 #24 "Past Lives" story line. Wolverine is the 18th release in our popular and adorable Marvel animated statues based on the Marvel comic books covers done by fan-favorite artist Skottie Young. The Wolverine Statue was digitally sculpted and carefully printed on state of the art 3D Systems 3D printers. The high-resolution prints were then used in the creation of prototypes needed to produce this animated collectible. Each animated statue is hand-cast, hand-painted, and hand-numbered with a limited edition certificate of authenticity.
