Rainbow Six: Siege Announces Operator Customization System In New Trailer

Rainbow Six: Siege has been pretty quiet since last E3 as we haven't heard too much noise coming out of the Ubisoft offices about the Tom Clancy game since. However, it seems that the marketing is beginning to ramp up for the holiday release.

This new trailer introduces the concept of Operators. Straight from the press release this is described as:

Operators are specialists from the world's top Special Forces units and masters in their respective fields. Each has their own unique expertise which adds a new tactical layer to the Siege experience and pushes team play even further. Players will put together these operators to create their best CTU (counter-terrorism unit) composition in order to defeat the opposing team.

So, basically, from what I can discern, they are different classes that players can customize.

Here is that trailer. I have to say, this looks much less spectacular than the original E3 video. Not that that will matter much. The meat of this game will come from the tactical gameplay. I can't wait to try it.
