As the record heat drove most people indoors today, the fine convention goers of Phoenix Comicon were privy to a wide variety of movie replica, comic themed, and otherwise unique cars on 3rd Ave. between the two main convention buildings. There was a city-block long stretch of the street closed down to traffic, several food trucks set up, and lots of gearhead goodness for the car loving nerds to soak in.
