Hasbro Reveals New Marvel Legends, Star Wars Figures at Unboxing Con

Unboxing Toy Con is going on right now in Mexico, and Hasbro is there not only with a booth presence, but also doing full panels and reveals. Members of the Star Wars and Marvel Legends teams were on hand, and they each had new figures to show off to the crowd.

They mentioned a couple weeks ago that they would be doing this — going to more international cons, revealing figures, and even offering exclusives in an effort to make sure international con-goers do not feel left out, since many from international countries do not attend SDCC or NYCC and such. Here are the five figures revealed!

First up from Star Wars, we have a six-inch Black Series Han Solo Mudtrooper figure from Solo: A Star Wars Story. I am loving the sculpt on this one. He has a removeable mask as well, so if you are so inclined to army build these guys, you can. From The Vintage Collection we have a new 3.75-inch super-articulated Leia in Boushh disguise. That one is sure to be a hit as well for 3.75 inch collectors.

On the Marvel Legends side, three new figures were shown off. Kree Sentry will be a build a figure for a as-yet-unnanounced wave of figures early next year (Captain Marvel film wave maybe?), and I would assume the other two figures will be a part of that same assortment. Those two revealed are a Living Laser (I cannot believe we are getting this figure) and Nighthawk, which I am sure will make many of you quite happy. This just goes to show how deep into the Marvel roster the Marvel Legends design team is willing to go. I mean, be honest: how many of you even remember Living Laser? That translucent body is pretty epic though.

What do you think of these? Are these part of a Captain Marvel wave? How many Hans are you gonna buy and never remove the mask?
