A Pricey Fallout 76 Jacket Became an Easy Target on Social Media

If you work for Bethesda Softworks, and you know for a fact that the Fallout community is mad at you for everything you've done with Fallout 76 so far, is now the best time to show off your latest high-priced item? That's the fun question the company's marketing team probably get to ask themselves in the morning as a new jacket went over with the fans like a fart in the bunker. After already getting fan ridicule over the game's functionality, price, special editions, tote bags, alcoholic bottles, etc., the company somehow thought now would be a good time to show off this new premium leather jacket, currently priced in their store at $276!

To say that the community was unamused is an understatement as they went to town mocking this thing for all it was worth. We have a few examples from Twitter below, but after failing to impress the community a couple different times, maybe releasing an expensive jacket right now is not the best timing. Or hey, maybe it is, there are still some Fallout 76 fans who don't have a single complaint about the game and love it for everything it is. So maybe getting those people to plunk down nearly $300 on a leather jacket isn't that bad of an idea for them.
