Lord of the Rings Funko Pops Wave 2- Gollum, Treebeard, and more!

Lord of the Rings had its Funko debut earlier this year. In February next year, the journey continues. Not only are we getting a huge new wave of Pops, but Mystery Minis as well. The requisite exclusives and such will be available in stores as well.

Funko Lord of the Rings Mystery Minis

The future of civilization rests in the fate
of the One Ring, which has been lost for centuries!
When young Frodo Baggins inherits the Ring,
he steps into legend as he journeys with the
Fellowship of the Ring to destroy it once and for all.

Until the Ring is destroyed Funko is excited to
introduce several characters from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
now as Mystery Minis and unveil a new series of Pop!

These Mystery Minis are some of the most impressive to date. Just like the Star Wars ones, all of the sculpts look very detailed and perfect for the style. As far as exclusives go- you can find the Witch-King of Angmar, Lurtz,
and Eowyn at Hot Topic. Barnes and Noble get Galadriel (Glow), Frodo Baggins (Clear), and Gimli (Gold). I am happy that those are just color variants for the most part. I can ignore those.

Funko Lord of the Rings Pops and Exclusives

All sorts of fan-favorites are here in wave 2. Three different versions of Gollum are coming, including a standard chase with him holding a fish and a transparent version at Barnes and Noble. Nobel Aragorn gets two as well, with him as king exclusive to Toys R Us. The two best Hobbits (sorry not sorry) Merry and Pippin are here, as is the sinister Lurtz. For me though, the best figure revealed is the deluxe Pop of Treebeard. What a fantastic looking Pop.

The Mystery Minis will be in stores in January, with the Pops following in February. You can preorder them here now.
