The Game Awards 2019 Will Include Around 10 New Game Announcements
This year, The Game Awards is going to be chock-full of new video game announcements.
Host and producer Geoff Keighley took to a Reddit AMA session to confirm the news.
"We have a bunch of brand new games being announced at the show," he said to eager Redditors. "There are around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet."
He added during the AMA event that the rumored Resident Evil 3 remake actually isn't one of the announcements that's set to debut. In fact, he noted that many of the "leaks" we've heard about recently actually aren't going to be at the show. He called them "incorrect."
This close to The Game Awards, Keighley probably isn't about to share the games that are meant to be revealed during the show. Still, it's pretty disappointing to think that the new Resident Evil title may not be shown off there. If not, it sounds like we still have plenty to look forward to, at the very least.
