After revealing Superman and Wonder Woman Premium Format figures over the last couple months, to say that collectors have been anticipating a reveal for Batman is an understatement. It looks like it was worth the wait. This version of Bruce is one of the most heavily detailed I have seen in quite some time. Right down to the ripples of fabric, Batman is striking an iconic pose on what looks to be a substantial stone base. The Batsuit has so much awesome detail that it's hard to pin it all down. Amazing texture on the suit — every rivet of detail on the gloves and especially on the utility belt looks immaculately sculpted.

This Batman Premium Format figure also features a posable cape. This is almost essential to any Batman on the market at this point. His cape is a character itself, and with this one there is no shortage of posing possibilities. It really adds to the look of Bruce and ties the whole thing together. It also draws attention to the utility belt, making the gold of the figure really pop.

As always, the eye is drawn to the head. I can think of no other appropriate look than a scowl. I love all the wrinkles under the cowl, and am once again in awe of what Sideshow is capable of sculpting-wise. Here you can also get a finer look at the material used on the cape and the battle-damage on the suit. The more I look at it, the more I am in love the most with that utility belt.
