Square Enix Re-Hashes Just Cause 4, Kingdom Hearts III, and NieR: Automata

Square Enix Re-Hashes Just Cause 4, Kingdom Hearts III, and NieR: Automata

In case you missed these trailers yesterday, Square Enix showed what was basically the exact same trailers from yesterday for Just Cause 4Kingdom Hearts III, and NieR: Automata: Become as Gods Edition. Sure, there were slight changes, parts of the Kingdom Hearts trailer was split up between the Xbox One Enhanced Games montage and the proper Kingdom Hearts III reveal trailer, but essentially today's trailers were just the same as yesterday's. Which begs the question: why even bother?

While we can't answer that question for you, we can show you the slightly new trailer versions.

The Kingdom Hearts III trailer from the Square Enix showcase takes the Frozen and Tangled worlds that we've only really seen in separate trailers (mentioned above) and drops them together so you don't have to sit through two separate YouTube ads.

The publisher also revealed two special editions for KH3:

Kingdom Hearts III Deluxe Edition

  • Exclusive SteelBook packaging
  • Mini art book with concept artwork by Tetsuya Nomura
  • Collectible Kingdom Hearts III pin
  • Kingdom Hearts III game

Kingdom Hearts III + Kingdom Hearts III BRING ARTS (available exclusively on the Square Enix Online Store)

  • All Deluxe Edition content
  • An exclusive BRING ARTS figure collection featuring the toy forms of Sora, Donald, and Goofy as they appear in the Toy Story world
  • Kingdom Hearts III game

The NieR: Automata: Become as Gods Edition trailer is pretty much just the same Xbox trailer as yesterday. We honestly can't tell a difference, but here is the new version either way.

Just Cause 4's Square Enix showcase gave us a bit more of a walkthrough this time around. Well, it does, once the hype reel is done blasting dubstep at you. The trailer may look exceedingly familiar, and it should, but this official trailer breakdown from yesterday can help you parse what is new and what isn't.
